About

DSBuilt has become one of Melbourne's most trusted custom home builders. Whether you're looking to customise and build your dream home or renovate your family home, with more than 20 years' combined experience from small scale bathroom renovations to large scale town house developments, DSBuilt is there to help every step of the way.

Founded by our Managing Director, Doug, a qualified carpenter by trade who has spent his career in the domestic building industry. Before establishing the business, Doug mastered the craft of carpentry and gained extensive experience supervising luxury residential projects, developing a strong understanding of construction from both a hands-on and management perspective. He later became a fully licensed Domestic Builder and went on to establish the company.

Working closely alongside Doug is Chris, who joined the business shortly after its founding as a Partner and Construction Manager. Chris holds a Diploma in Building & Construction, an Honours Degree in Construction Management, and is also a fully licensed Domestic Builder. He has since become Joint Director, bringing broad experience across both the commercial and residential construction sectors, together with strong project management, technical and leadership expertise.

Doug and Chris have been instrumental in shaping the business, building a strong team and establishing the high standards of workmanship, management and service the company is known for today.
